How to obtain a sponsor

The sponsorship program is maintained by the 10th Combat Support Hospital S1.

Replacement Detachment

You will be affiliated with the Replacement Detachment from the time you sign in off of leave until the completion of in-processing. In-processing lasts four days and meets all requirements outlined by the Fort Carson Garrison Commander, the Fort Carson Commanding General, and AR 600-8-101. We strive to make in-processing efficient and as fast as possible, to ensure you are at your unit ready to serve as soon as possible.

Signing in

If you arrive during duty hours (7 a.m to 3 p.m. on weekdays), you will report to the In- and Out-Processing section at building 1218, to sign in off of leave and initiate in-processing. You will then proceed to building 1013, where CQ personnel will sign you in off of leave, issue you a barracks room if necessary, and ensure you have all paperwork and information to begin in-processing the next duty day.

Billeting

If you have dependents with you, or are a Staff Sergeant (promotable) or above, you must arrange for your own lodging. Rooms may be available at the Colorado Inn on Fort Carson (719-526-4832). If the Colorado Inn is not available, you must make arrangements with off-post lodging.
