The Burn Tower

The FCFES training center is located in building 3669.  The training center consists of a main facility, housing a state of the art, 40 person classroom and offices for the training chief and captain.  The training center also has a smokehouse, which can be configured for search and RIT training.  In 2001, we finished construction of a three story burn tower.  Just south of the main facility, there is a fire ground designed specifically to meet the needs of our technical rescue and urban search and rescue teams. This unique and highly configurable location includes areas for shoring, trench collapse, confined space, vehicle extrication and even concrete and metal breaching/cutting stations.

We are a Colorado Health Department EMS training CEU group.
