One of the Army's youngest installations, Fort Carson, the Mountain Post, is a proud Army post located southwest of Colorado Springs, Colorado, between Interstate 25 and Highway 115 in El Paso county. This post is recognized as one of the world's premier locations to lead, train, and maintain while preparing soldiers to win on the battlefield.
The Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) is located at the end of was previously known as the "Banana Belt". It is nesled between Barkeley and McGrath Avenue's facing Christie Street in Bldg 2701. The DES is most easily accessable entering from Gate 20 and is open during normal duty hours (0800 - 1700) Monday - Friday. For more information, please visit the DES Website
The Fort Carson Police station in located between Barkeley and McGrath Avenue's just east of the Directorate of Emergency Services building in Bldg 2700. The actual Street Address is 7227 Christie Street.
The Fort Carson Centralized Dispatch Center provides emergency communications and rapid and convenient access to public safety for both the residents of Fort Carson and the visitors passing through. The Centralized Dispatch Center is located at the corner of Prussman Avenue and Wetzel Street in Bldg 1805 (Fort Carson Fire Station #1). Click here to visit their website.
