1.3 Objective
The objectives
of the IDG are:
Provide general design
standards and guidelines that define color, materials, style, signage, and
other aspects of design for all visual elements surveyed. Provide standards and guidelines for
the selection of materials for new construction, renovation, maintenance,
and repair projects. Provide guidance for sustainable development.
See Appendix D. Provide a structured methodology for establishing projects to improve the
visual imagery of the installation. Provide guidance to integrate ATFP
standards.
