8.17 Facility Types Standardization

The Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM) establishes Army facility standards and approves deviations from the standards.

Design guidance for several key facility types is provided in the sections below.  The standards for Residential Communities, Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (Army Barracks), Army Lodging, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR), and Range Facilities are listed or links to a specific web sites for the standards are provided.
