9.13.3 Bikeway Furnishings

Encourage use of the bicycle system by making trails visually attractive and by providing pedestrian amenities in appropriate locations.  Provide site furnishings such as benches, tables, waste receptacles, drinking fountains, and signage along paths.  Location of these amenities should be in response to travel distance and traffic volume.  See Section 11, Site Elements.
