I.3.6 WOOD PANELING

See charts in the Interior portion of Section 8 for locations and instances where wood paneling is an acceptable finish.  High-quality, custom-paneled spaces can create a rich and sophisticated atmosphere associated with status and success.  The warmth of wood is also comfortable and relaxing.  Possible locations for the use of wood paneling are executive private dinning rooms, officer club dining rooms, and top administrative conference rooms.  Wood-like pressboard paneling is unacceptable.  Hardwoods are to be used and paneling is to have a Class A fire rating.  Provide 5% minimum overstock for future modifications.
