Summary of Changes:  This is a comprehensive summary of all recent updates that have been made in the IDG.

Users Guide:  Contains information on what is in the IDG, what you need to browse the IDG, and descriptions of the various symbols and buttons you will find in the IDG.

Executive Summary:  Contains the Purpose of the IDG, the methodology for how it was generated, and indicates who is responsible for it.

Background:  The background section contains the introduction to the IDG, information on the implementation of the IDG.  It also contains the design criteria used to develop the standards set forth in the IDG, and the Installation Profile section.  The Installation Profile section contains the regional setting characteristics such as climate, geology, and wildlife.

Visual Themes and Zones:  The Visual Themes and Zones section breaks the installation down into different zones where the character of the facilities in each zone shall be similar.  Assets and Liabilities for each zone are stated as are recommendations for improvements in each zone.

Standards:  The standards section contains all the standards established for Fort Carson.  Standards for Site Design, Building Design, Circulation Design, Landscape Design, Site Elements, and Force Protection.

Appendices:  Contain supplemental information specific for projects at Fort Carson.  These Appendices are a great resources center for everyone at Fort Carson.
