CSM Kilpatrick entered the United States Army in March 1984 and completed his advanced individual training (Honor Graduate) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for Combat Engineer (21B).
He served as the 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion Command Sergeant Major in the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, prior to his current assignment as Fort Carson Garrison Command Sergeant Major.
