If Soldier is going overseas and Family Members are authorized to join them, schedule an appointment for an Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) overseas screening. The screening is mandatory for all Family Members who wish to accompany their sponsor overseas. Soldier must attend briefing prior to making appointment to obtain proper documentation.

Information about making appointments can be made by calling the EFMP office at (719) 526-7805.

Passports

No-fee passports (with dependents tour) should be applied for as soon as possible because of the time it takes to receive them back. Passport and the EFMP can be done at the same time – you do not have to wait for the EFMP approval to apply for the passport.
