Services provided by this office

Personnel Actions & Promotions Section provides customer service to Officers & Enlisted Soldiers for Non-divisional units at Fort Carson and remote sites.

Promotions Section provides service to units for processing of promotion packets and the publishing of promotion orders from E4 to E5 and E5 to E6, and the distribution of Senior NCO and Officer monthly promotion orders. Promotions Section also does the processing of propositioned promotion lists for Officer, Warrant and Senior NCOs for all Ft Carson and tenant units.

Personnel Actions Section provides service for OCONUS leaves, Naturalization and Citizenship (INS), AWOL/DR packets, Special Duty Assignment Pay/Foreign Language Proficiency Pay, Green to Gold, Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP), Warrant Officer Packets, Drill Sergeant Packets, Recruiter Duty and Processing of Flagging Actions.

It also provides service to Fort Carson for OCS (Officer Candidate School) packets & is responsible for conducting Local OCS Selection Boards as needed.
