Desktop Support Division

Mission Statement: Providing C4IM operational base services by executing professional technological services, sustainment and defense of LandWarNet capabilities across the Fort Carson AOR enabling unity of command and synchronization of the GNEC in support of full spectrum operations.

Vision Statement: Recognized SME and single service provider for all C4IM services, enabling information dominance across and through the Fort Carson AOR.

Desktop Support and Customer Services Branches

The Customer Service Branch provides computer assistance to users of Fort Carson network through the Service Desk. The preferred method of contact is Users call 526-2270 from 0700-1700, Monday thru Friday. The CSC and DSB shall provide adequate ITSS for the NEC to help facilitate and sustain the IT systems and IT infrastructure. Services include systems support in the following functional areas:

  • Desktop Systems
  • Customer Service
  • Incident Management
  • IT Service Support Request
  • Trouble Ticket Management
  • IT Trouble Shooting and Problem Management
  • Remedy Database Service
  • Telephony Services
  • All IT and Telephone Management processes

NEC Customer Service Center (CSC) Responsibilities

Provide friendly service to all customers. Provide accurate information, and log all calls into the Remedy ticketing system database. Users should always receive a ticket number from the technician for future reference when calling.
