Ammo-86 Description: This workshop is designed to provide specialized technical information to all DOD military personnel, civilian government employees and authorized government contract personnel whose duties require the transportation certification of Class 7 radioactive material. This course is designed to supplement the Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials course (Ammo-62). Participants are provided comprehensive technical information in the identification, classification and communication requirements specific to the transportation of Class 7 radioactive materials. Length: 8 Hours Audience: This workshop is designed to provide specialized technical information to all DOD military personnel, civilian government employees and authorized government contract personnel whose duties require the transportation certification of Class 7 radioactive material. Requirements: Workshop attendees should have a thorough understanding of basic hazardous materials transportation processes. Attendees’ duties should require the certification and shipment of radioactive materials. Additionally, participants are required to have access to Video Tele-training (VTT) or Video Tele-conferencing (VTC) equipment to register for the workshop. Prerequisites: Successful completion of the Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials course (AMMO-62). Transportation of Hazardous Materials courses provided by an approved Defense Transportation Regulation, DOD 4500.9-R, Chapter 204 school is acceptable. Security Course Topics: |
