Welcome to the 68th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB)—STAGECOACH!
Directly subordinate to the 43rd Sustainment Brigade, 68th CSSB is the largest battalion in the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado. At any given time, our subordinate units are in every phase of the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) Cycle as our companies deploy independently from the battalion and brigade headquarters.
With our 10 subordinate units, this battalion provides sustainment support to units on Fort Carson. Our capabilities include CL I, II, III(P), IV, V, VII, and VIII support, field maintenance support, laundry and bath support, bulk fuel storage and bulk fuel transport as well as materiel handling and transportation support.
Beginning 1 October 2011, 68th CSSB will also provide contingency response sustainment as required within the Continental United States. For this mission, 68th CSSB will operate as TF Sustainment and have subordinate to it our organic 32nd Transportation Company, the 62nd Quartermaster Company from Fort Hood, Texas and the 542nd Support Maintenance Company and 24th Quartermaster Company from Fort Lewis, Washington.
