Welcome to the 43D Sustainment Brigade

Welcome to the 43D Sustainment Brigade, Fort Carson and our community here in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a new 43D SB soldier, CSM Varner and I would like to welcome you and your Family to our team. We also like to thank you for your service to this great nation while our Army continues to fight against extremism and protect our way of life.

As you and your Family transition from your previous duty station, it is imperative you and your family members stay safe throughout your journey to Fort Carson, Colorado. Upon arrival you will in-process through the Welcome Center (Building 1218) during the first 72 hours of signing into post. In order to ensure a smooth transition in the unit, it is essential that you complete all required briefings, complete SRP requirements and receive your CIF issue during your in-processing. You will be assigned a sponsor from the battalion in order to assist you with your transition.

You will be challenged physically due to the high altitude and weather conditions of the Mountain Post and our demanding training schedule. Ensure that you arrive in top physical condition and able to meet the standards outlined in your orders.

The Fort Carson and Colorado Springs community is a great place for Soldiers and families. The local community is very supportive of the Army and there are many things to do here and in the Denver area. You will have a great time here.

Again, welcome to the brigade. We look forward to having you on the team. If you need any more assistance do not hesitate to contact the S1 NCOIC (S1 NCOIC) at 719-524-6853.
