Biography

Command Sergeant Major Giles entered the U.S. Army in 1986. Giles has served in numerous duty and leadership positions including section chief, platoon sergeant, operations sergeant, first sergeant, operations sergeant major, battalion command sergeant major, and brigade command sergeant major.

Giles' assignments include 1st Army; 2nd Infantry Division; 6th Infantry Division; 25th Infantry Division; 1st Cavalry Division and 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Giles has completed all levels of the Army's noncommissioned officers education system and is a graduate of Class 55, Sergeants Major Academy.

Giles has received the appropriate awards and decorations commensurate with his time in service, rank, and duty position.
