Biography
Command Sergeant Major Corey Gill was born in Silsbee, TX. His enlistment started on 25 July, 1989 when he began his basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He then conducted his Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN where he was awarded the MOS 75F Personnel Information Systems Management Specialist.
During his 24-year career, CSM Gill has served in a variety of duty positions including Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, NCOIC Personnel Automation Branch, NCOIC Personnel Actions Branch, Drill Sergeant, Brigade Senior Personnel Services Sergeant, Corps Personnel Services Chief, First Sergeant of HQs V Corps, First Sergeant of HQs Multi-National Corps-Iraq, Inspector General Sergeant Major, Division G1 Sergeant Major, Secretary of General Staff Sergeant Major and his latest assignment as the G1 Sergeant Major for HQs, 4th Infantry Division.
